BDA wins new approval

written by WOFA | June 21, 2010

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) has had its FAA Part 145 Repair Station Certificate expanded to allow it to repair and overhaul wheels on 737NGs at its Amberley facilities.

The new approval will enhance BDA’s existing 737NG commercial and commercial-derivative aircraft (including the Wedgetail AEW&C) maintenance and repair services capability, and also benefit local and international customers based in the Asia Pacific region through reduced turnaround times and freight costs, and a more convenient location. It also makes BDA the first Boeing subsidiary outside of the US to hold the certification.
