Japanese pilots to train in NZ

written by WOFA | June 16, 2010

CTC Aviation Group and Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology have signed an agreement which will see the two New Zealand based companies train pilots from Japan’s JF Oberlin University.

The agreement will see 17 pilots trained each year at CTC’s crew training centre in Hamilton from September this year, with 30 pilots to be trained each year afterwards. JF Oberlin University currently trains its students in the US, and CTC and NMIT were selected as part of a global search for new training partner.

CTC was also recently selected by Jetstar as one of two training providers for its recently launched cadet pilot program.
