Air Mauritius lands in Sydney

written by WOFA | July 7, 2010
Air Mauritius has landed in Sydney.

Air Mauritius has resumed flights to Sydney, with its first flight after an 18 month absence landing on July 6, in the process doubling the airline’s frequency of service to Australia.

The new weekly flight operates via Melbourne, while Air Mauritius has decoupled Melbourne from its weekly Perth service, which now terminates in the WA capital. Both flights are operated by two-class A340-300s.

Air Mauritius becomes the 38th international airline to serve Sydney Airport.
