Israel grounds T-6 fleet after ejection

written by WOFA | July 22, 2010

Israel has grounded its fleet of T-6A Texan II advanced trainers after a cadet ejected from an aircraft which lost control on landing on July 15.

Although the damaged aircraft will be repaired and returned to the air, the fleet has been grounded until the cause of the mishap can be determined.

The T-6A entered Israeli service in 2009 to replace the Fouga Magister.
