The second RAAF Airbus Military KC-30A tanker-transport has emerged from the paintshop wearing its 33SQN RAAF colours.

This aircraft, the first to have been converted to the tanker configuration from a standard A330-200 airframe with Qantas Defence Services in Brisbane, has been undergoing flight test with Airbus Military in Spain since late last year, alongside the first KC-30, which had undergone its conversion in Spain.

The RAAF has five KC-30As on order, with Airbus Military saying the first two remain on track to be delivered “later this year”.
