Weather disrupts Sydney flights

written by WOFA | July 14, 2010

Airservices Australia has announced that forecast strong gusts at Sydney Airport on July 14 may cause it to restrict operations on its Runway 25.

“As is usual practice, to maintain safe operations Airservices air traffic controllers in Sydney have adjusted the number of aircraft movements per hour to match the operating conditions,” Airservices said in a statement.

“Other major airports may experience some flow-on delays as a result of the weather issues in Sydney.”

Passengers travelling on July 14 are advised to contact their airline for information about any impact on their schedule.
