ISAA acquired by ITC

written by WOFA | August 20, 2010

The Cessnock based International School of Aviation Australia (ISAA) has now become a fully owned entity of ITC Limited, the commercial arm of the University of Wollongong, which it says will allow it to boost its aviation training activities.

“This acquisition strengthens our commitment to continue to provide pilot training opportunities within the local Hunter Valley community,” said ISAA business manager Nerrin Warr. “It will save trainees the need to travel to the city to undertake pilot training and in the Hunter the airspace and training environments are just so much better.”

ISAA has been located at the Cessnock Airport for more than three years and offers private and commercial pilot training, charter flights and aerial photography. It will hold its second open day on November 21, which will consist of school tours, career guidance presentations, discussions with current staff and students, test flights and attendance from key personnel within the aviation industry.
