Safeskies Australia has been awarded the prestigious Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) Honorary Group Diploma for Aeronautics in recognition for its contribution to the progress of aeronautics over recent years.
“Safeskies has contributed significantly to the advancement of aeronautics through its role as a medium in the exchange of information, opinion and the development of relationships between the myriad of parties involved in modern aviation,” the FAI Australia said in a statement.
The 10th biennial Safeskies Conference will be held at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th October 2011; and the Sir Reginald Ansett Memorial Lecture plus Conference Dinner will be held at Parliament House Canberra on the evening of Tuesday 25th October 2011.
