Airservices wins project management awards

written by WOFA | September 17, 2010

Three Airservices Australia capital investment projects have taken out three separate state awards for project management.

The Queensland section of the AIPM judged the management of Airservices’ new Sunshine Coast Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) as the winner in the Defence/Aerospace category for its state project management awards. Airservices also won state awards for the Tasmanian Wide Area Multilateration (TAS WAM) and Automatic Dependant Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) projects in the Defence/ Aerospace category of Tasmania and Victoria at the same awards. All three projects are part of Airservices’ $900 million capital improvement program.

The three projects are now in the running to be considered for the national project management awards at the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) National Conference in Darwin in October.
