Cathay Pacific has signed an agreement with Boeing to exercise six options for 777-300ERs which will be delivered between 2013 and 2014.

The six new aircraft have an estimated value of US$1.6bn (A$1.7bn) at list prices, and will take Cathay Pacific’s future 777-300ER fleet from 30 to 36.

Cathay previously announced its intentions to take on the additional aircraft in August.
