The 2000th Caravan

Cessna has delivered its 2000th Caravan turboprop to Air St Kitts-Nevis, which will fly it on behalf of DHL.

“This marks not only our 2000th delivery, but it comes in our 25th anniversary year of Caravan production, making this occasion that much more special,” said John Doman, vice president, Cessna Worldwide Propeller Aircraft Sales, on September 15.

The Caravan was certified in 1984, with the first delivery in 1985. Since then the fleet has amassed more than 13 million flight hours.
