Former Virgin Blue CEO Brett Godfrey has been recruited to stand for election as a director to the board of Auckland Airport at its annual meeting on October 28. The airport is urging shareholders to vote in favour of Godfrey’s appointment. Godfrey is also a director of Canadian carrier WestJet.
