New chair for Swinburne Aviation Committee

written by WOFA | September 29, 2010

Captain Cameron Tribe has been appointed as the new chair of Swinburne University’s Aviation Industry Advisory Committee. Tribe, who is a senior 737 training captain at Virgin Blue and has also held various managerial positions, succeeds former chair Captain Mark Krieger.

The Aviation Industry Advisory Committee helps to ensure the university’s aviation programs are industry relevant and to provide a forum for industry to influence and direct program content. The committee provides advice and recommendations to the university during accreditation of new programs and re-accreditation of existing programs, with its members drawn from various companies both in Australia and abroad.
