The Strategic Aviation Group has announced the appointment of a number of senior managers to the company as it prepares for an expansion to its international and domestic services.
At Strategic Airlines, former Royal Brunei marketing and sales manager Marty Byrne has been appointed to the newly created role of national marketing and communications manager. He joins former CASA eastern region manager flight operations Clive Adams, who has been appointed as the airline’s chief operating officer. Robert Kane has been appointed as the airline’s chief information officer, having worked in IT at Emirates for the past 12 years. Tony Morrison has joined the carrier as its manager of customer services, while Stewart Tully will head up the airline’s network operations.
As well as the appointments at its Strategic Airlines subsidiary, Strategic Aviation Group has named former V Australia flight operations project manager Phil Warth as its head of project and change, overseeing project management of the group. In addition, Alyson Sampson has been appointed as the group’s manager aviation contracts and procurement. Sampson previously had a 25 year career in the RAAF.
