Airbus to up A330 production rate

written by WOFA | February 5, 2011
Airbus is upping the A330 production rate.

Airbus will increase its A330 Family production rate to 10 aircraft a month from the second quarter of 2013.

The popular twin is currently being built at a rate of eight per month, with an increase to nine per month already planned for early 2012.

Airbus’s executive vice president programs Tom Williams attributed the rate rise to “strong market demand”.
