written by WOFA | March 25, 2011
Boeing has extended Goldcare to the 737.

Boeing has announced the expansion of its GoldCare integrated maintenance service to include the Next-Generation 737, saying it is in “advanced” discussions with a number of 737 customers interested in Goldcare options.

First offered on the 787, under the Goldcare program Boeing manages through a team of global suppliers “maintenance engineering, planning and execution and material services with a predictable cost based on airplane flight hours”.

“We’ve designed GoldCare to bring value to our Next-Generation 737 customers by boosting airplane reliability, which will reduce cost and improve efficiency throughout the airplane’s lifecycle,” Boeing Commercial Airplanes vice president, Fleet Management, Jay Maloney said.
