Airbus and Boeing have announced firm orders from Cathay Pacific for 15 A330-300s and 10 777-300ERs respectively, as the airline looks set to grow its fleet to match increasing market demand.

“Our latest order reflects our confidence that the A330 will continue to meet our needs well into the future, both economically and operationally, as a key part of our fleet,” CEO Tony Tyler said.

“Our newest 777 order highlights our continued commitment to developing Hong Kong’s role as one of the world’s leading international aviation hubs. As we continue to expand our fleet, the 777-300ER will play a crucial role in our operations in the years to come.”
