SuperJet International has announced the completion of the first flightcrew training course for six pilots from Russia’s Aeroflot, who will be the first to fly the SuperJet 100 in service.

The 24 day type rating course saw Aeroflot crews complete classroom computer based training tutorials and instruction on a flight training device, before transitioning onto a flight procedure training device.

Inflight training was conducted using SSJ100 aircraft no.5, where upon completion, the Aeroflot crews were type rated by Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency.
