Jeppesen becomes founding partner to Aviation Hall of Fame

written by WOFA | May 10, 2011

Boeing subsidiary Jeppesen has become the first industry founding partner of the Australian Aviation Hall of Fame (AAHOF), with a sponsorship deal totalling $75,000 over five years.

“Jeppesen is the first major aviation organisation and first Founding Partner to come on board. Its contribution will enable us to commence work in developing the Australian Aviation Hall of Fame from an idea to a special program honouring our aviation pioneers,” AAHOF chairman, Geoff Breust said.

“Australia has a wealth of aviation history. In particular, it has many individuals and organisations who have not only made a huge contribution here in Australia, but to aviation across the world. Our vision is to honour them in a national facility to not only recognise their efforts but to inspire our future generations,” Breust noted.

Established in 2010 by a group of industry veterans, the AAHOF is an incorporated association with membership available to all aviation industry associations, unions and major airlines based in Australia.
