AVWest has ordered the Global 8000 (pictured) and 7000.

Perth based corporate jet operator AVWest has placed a firm order for four Bombardier Global 7000 and two Global 8000 aircraft at the Paris Airshow, in a deal worth approximately US$400 million.

Both types of aircraft will join AVWest’s existing corporate jet fleet, which includes the large cabin Bombardier Challenger 604, Global Express XRS, Hawker 800XP and the Gulfstream GIV-SP.

“Our customers’ travel needs increasingly require nonstop access to key destinations around the world. The Global 7000 and Global 8000 jets are the perfect fit, with range capabilities and a level of comfort that is truly amazing and unique to Bombardier’s Global business jet family,” AVWest principal, Tim Roberts said.
