United Airlines frequent flyer Tom Stuker has become the first passenger to earn a record 10 million frequent flyer miles, after a trip from Los Angeles to Chicago on July 9.

Stuker, a Chicago-based automotive sales consultant, has logged a total of 5962 United flights since 1982, including over 200 roundtrips to Australia and nearly 30 to Asia. He has also flown to airports in all 50 US states.

“While flying those 10 million miles, I have collected just as many great memories, smiles, experiences and new relationships along the way. The thousands of people at United have made my travels wonderful experiences,” Stuker said.
