First 787 for ANA rolls out ahead of September service entry

ANA's first 787 wears a unique paint scheme.

The first 787 planned to be delivered to launch customer ANA rolled out of the paintshop at Boeing’s Everett facilities on Saturday ahead of its service entry next month.

The 787, ZA101 registered JA801A, wears a special livery to celebrate its historic role as the first 787 to enter revenue service, which will occur next month when it operates a revenue charter flight between Tokyo and Hong Kong.

The aircraft is fitted with a two-class, approximately 200 seat interior for short and medium haul operations.
