Red Bull Air Racer Matt Hall has announced the start of an Australia-wide tour, giving crowds in up to six states a taste of the former RAAF fighter pilot’s dynamic aerobatic routine.

Beginning this weekend, Hall will perform at Bundaberg’s Wide Bay International Airshow followed by the inaugural Ingham Wings and Wheels Airshow on September 3 to 4. The MXS-R pilot has also confirmed appearances at the Bathurst, NSW (October 7-9), Symmons Plains, Tasmania (November 11-13) and Sandown, Victoria (November 18-20) rounds of the V8 Supercar championships. That will be in addition to displays at the Sunshine Coast’s Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) Convention, Barossa Valley Airshow in South Australia (November 4-6), and New Year’s Eve celebrations at Sydney Harbour. Negotiations are also underway for Hall to make an appearance at Perth’s Langley Park Fly In during October 15 & 16.

“It is certainly going to be a busy last few months of the year but it is something I am really looking forward to,” Hall said of the upcoming schedule.

“I had the privilege of flying at the Sandown V8 Supercar race last year and now to be able to display at that event along with Symmons Plains and such an iconic race as Bathurst is just awesome. I am also flying at the Show Us Ya Wheels event in Numurkah in Victoria in December, then to end the year with New Year’s Eve over Sydney Harbour will top off a great 12 months,” he added.
