written by WOFA | September 5, 2011
Tiger Airways is resuming Sydney-Perth services.

Tiger Airways Australia has announced the resumption of flights between Melbourne and Perth, with a daily return flight to operate from September 7.

“Perth is our fourth destination to return to following the resumption of domestic services on 12 August 2011…The Melbourne-Perth route has historically been very popular for Tiger Airways,” Tiger Airways head of marketing and communications Vanessa Regan said.

“As Tiger Airways is resuming services around Australia gradually, we’re keen to reinstate the popular core routes which enable us to focus on enhanced reliability. There are a number of other key locations we are earmarking a return to in the next phase of our development – which we will announce in due course,” she added.

Flights to Perth will leave Melbourne Airport at 7.10am, while return flights from Perth depart at 9.45am daily.
