The Mexican Air Force has ordered six Hawker Beechcraft T-6C+ trainers.

Hawker Beechcraft has announced the first sale of its upgraded T-6C+ military trainer to the Mexican Air Force, with deliveries slated to begin early this year.

An enhanced version of the T-6 trainer, the T-6C+ is capable of carrying external stores and delivering practice weapons. It features hard-point wings, heads-up display, up-front control panel, an integrated glass cockpit and an advanced Esterline CMC Cockpit 4000 avionics suite.

Mexico ordered six of the trainers to replace its ageing PC-7 fleet.
