P-750 XSTOL cleared for single-engine IFR

written by WOFA | March 28, 2012
The P-750 now has SE IFR certification.

Pacific Aerospace says its P-750 XSTOL has been certified for single-engine IFR operations for RPT passenger flights.

The Hamilton, New Zealand-based company says achieving certification involved making a number of modififcations to the aircraft, including fitting a new, dual-independent electrical generation system.

The first operator to take advantage of the SE IFR certification will be Fiji’s Island Hopper, which has two P-750 XSTOLs in service and will become the first operator of the type to fly scheduled passenger services.

“We are very pleased to have a quality operator like Island Hoppers as our launch customer in Fiji and to have them as the first commercial passenger transport operator of the P-750 in the world is very exciting.” said Pacific Aerospace CEO Damian Camp.
