Virgin launches Brisbane valet service

written by WOFA | March 28, 2012

V8 Super Car drivers Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup launch Virgin's Brisbane valet service.

Virgin Australia now offers a kerbside “premium valet” service for its passengers travelling through Brisbane’s domestic terminal.

The service costs $55 for up to 14 hours and $65 for up to 24 hours.

“All guests have the convenience of leaving their car with an attendant before stepping into an exclusive reception area. A dedicated check-in desk will be available for guests with carry-on baggage only,” Virgin Australia group executive product and guest services Martin Daley said.

The airline launched the service yesterday with V8 Super Car drivers Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup.

Virgin Australia says the valet service is part of a range of new initiatives focused on premium travellers. Other programs in the works include a concierge service at Gold Coast and Canberra airports, expanding and upgrading its Sydney and Melbourne domestic airport terminals, including building additional aerobridges at both airports capable of handling its Airbus A330s, and a new lounge at Gold Coast Airport and the expansion of the airline’s Perth Airport lounge.
