China Southern takes off on Canton Route

China Southern offers Australian and NZ customers a new path to Europe via its 'Canton Route'..

China Southern Airlines has moved forward with its plans to establish a ‘Canton Route’ between Australia, New Zealand and London.

The inaugural CZ303 service from Guangzhou to London will depart on June 6 at 9am, allowing passengers arriving on services from Australia and New Zealand to connect with a three hour stopover in Guangzhou.

“Australia is one of our most valued international markets and we are thrilled to now be able to link Australians directly with the UK and Europe through our lively hub in southern China,” said today, China Southern regional general manager Australia/New Zealand Henry He.

Fares on the Canton route start from $1800 return in economy class and $5800 in business class.

China Southern currently flies to Guangzhou from Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
