NetJets orders Bombardier & Cessna bizjets

Fractional business jet operator NetJets has placed orders for up to 425 new aircraft from Bombardier and Cessna.

Bombardier has announced that NetJets has placed a firm order for 75 Challenger 300s which will be delivered from 2014, and 25 Challenger 605s which will be delivered from 2015. NetJets has also taken options on a further 125 Challenger 300s and 50 Challenger 605s.

The operator has also ordered 25 Citation Lattitude aircraft and 125 options. Deliveries of the Lattitudes will start from 2016.

NetJets is a subsidiary of Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, and operates in North America and Europe.
