Emirates has confirmed will launch nonstop flights from Dubai to Adelaide in November, and will also increase capacity on its Melbourne and Perth services.

The Dubai based carrier will start four times weekly services to Adelaide on November 1, utilising a three-class Boeing 777-300ER on the route. The airline also announced that it is adding an additional five 777-3000ER services to Perth from December 1.

“The addition of Adelaide to our network and the boost to our Perth operations demonstrates our commitment to investment and growth in our Australian operations and highlights the economic strength and global demand for the two cities as business, leisure and investment destinations,” said Emirates chairman HH Sheikh Bin Saeed Al Makhtoum.

Emirates has previously announced that it will add capacity to Melbourne, with a daily Boeing 777-300ER service to an A380 from October.
