Qantas and Emirates have announced to their respective customers they can start booking on the joint network for travel from March 31.

Qantas International CEO Simon Hickey said: “No airline can fly everywhere but the combined Qantas and Emirates network means our customers can fly to a wide range of destinations and earn frequent flyer points in the process.”

The airlines are finalising joint pricing, schedules and additional frequent flyer benefits, which they say will be announced in the coming weeks.

The opening of sales on the joint services follows the ACCC’s recent interim approval of the partnership.
