Jetstar has announced its first international flights out of Adelaide, with the introduction from December 16 of nonstop services to Auckland three times a week.

The flights will operate each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday using a single class-configured A320.

Jetstar Group Chief Commercial Officer David Koczkar said the launch would meet increasing demand for direct flights between the two destinations. “We believe the introduction of low fares on this route will make Auckland a much more accessible and affordable destination for Adelaide travellers.

Regular lead-in fares from Adelaide to Auckland start from $229 one way and are now available for sale.
