RAAA announces scholarship winners

The Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) has announced the winners of its 2013 scholarships.

RAAA Ansett Aviation Training Scholarship: With 
a total value of $22,000, winners will complete a full endorsement on either the Beechcraft Super Kingair B200 or Fairchild Metroliner III/23 aircraft types. The 2013 winners are: Scott Gregory from Regional Express and Cameron de Jong from Chartair.

RAAA Hawker Pacific Avionics Scholarship: With a value
of $5,000, funds are to be used to assist the recipient attend the Aircraft Electronics Association International Convention and Trade Show held in the USA. The 2013 winner is Richard Wales from Qantaslink (Tamworth).

RAAA Jeppesen Pilot Scholarship: With a value of $5,000, the recipient receives a cheque to go towards the ongoing costs of their training. The 2013 winner is Mariano Salvati from the University of NSW.

RAAA Jeppesen Avionics Scholarship: With a value of $5,000, the recipient receives a cheque to go towards the ongoing costs of their training. The 2013 winner is Patrick Downey from Alliance Airlines.

RAAA Michelin Airframe Scholarship: With a value of $5,000, the recipient receives a cheque to contribute to the ongoing costs of their training. The 2013 winner is Andrew Tuni from Hawker Pacific (Cairns).

The scholarship awards will be officially presented at the 2013 RAAA Meeting and Convention being held from the October 9 at the Palmer Coolum Resort, Coolum Queensland.
