Fiji Airways has retired its last 747-400 following the delivery of its third A330-200 earlier this month.

Fiji Airways staff were able to farewell DQ-FJK Island of Vanua Levu at an event in the airline’s Nadi maintenance hangar on Tuesday where they were able to write farewell messages on the aircraft’s fuselage before the 747, the last to wear the old Air Pacific livery, was due to depart Nadi on Wednesday afternoon, bound for Tupelo, Mississippi.

All these airlines seem to be discontinuing operations on their 747’s, but what about Qantas? When will they stop?
