TAE moves Masling to Adelaide

written by WOFA | November 7, 2013

TAE is consolidating its Masling Industries engine fuel control and electrical component maintenance operation from Cootamundra in country NSW to its Adelaide Airport facilities.

TAE said in a statement that: “The services currently provided by Masling Industries will be integrated with TAE’s existing avionics and electrical component maintenance business in Adelaide and will be repositioned as TAE’s aviation components maintenance business to capture several growth opportunities alongside Australia’s leading turbo-prop engine MRO capability.”

The shift of the Masling operations to Adelaide, which is expected to be completed in early 2014, follows the decision to bring TAE’s three main operating entities – TAE Aviation, TAE Gas Turbines and Masling Industries – under a single TAE brand.

“We are now known simply as TAE. At the same time, we’ve made a number of internal changes to streamline our operations and redefine our service offering,” TAE general manager Andrew Sanderson said.
