Air Tahiti Nui launches third weekly service

written by WOFA | December 11, 2013
2Air Tahiti Nui has launched a third weekly service to Tahiti, offering Australian travellers better access to the sought-after holiday destination in 2014.
The new year-round Tuesday service will compliment the airline’s existing Thursday and Sunday flights from Auckland to Papeete linking up with direct codeshare connections from Sydney and Melbourne.
Air Tahiti Nui General Manager New Zealand Australia Mark Hutchinson said the additional flight opened up more flexible itinerary options for holidaymakers.
“It’s the first time we’ve offered three weekly flights year-round so we are looking forward to a big year,” Mr Hutchinson said.
The airline has almost completed a fleetwide cabin redesign, to include more comfortable seats and a new inflight entertainment system which delivers tablet-quality viewing, with the final aircraft due to be revamped by mid-2014.
