Successful Singapore show for ATR

ATR has ended the 2014 Singapore Airshow with 28 firm orders and 20 options on its books. The regional turboprop manufacturer logged two new orders during the show, and revealed the identity of a third.

UAE based lessor Dubai Aerospace Enterprise ordered 20 ATR 72-600s and took and 20 options, while Spain’s Binter Canarias ordered six ATR 72-600s.

Thailand’s Bangkok Airways also confirmed it had ordered six ATR 72-600s and taken two options, although this order was booked in 2013 and had previously been attributed to an unidentified buyer.
