The annual Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) National Convention will move to a new venue in the NSW Hunter Valley.

Formerly held at the Hyatt Coolum/Palmer Resort on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, the 2014 convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley adjacent to Cessnock Airport in Lovedale.

“Steve Padgett and the RAAA Convention Committee have done a tremendous job through the last 14 years on the Sunshine Coast in taking the event from modest beginnings to a major event on the aviation calendar,” RAAA chairman Jim Davis said. “It has without doubt helped our organisation to become the nationally recognised industry body it is today.”

The 2014 National Convention will be held over three days from October 8 to 10, incorporating a speakers program, exhibitor trade show, social networking functions and an official dinner.

The Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA) is a not-for-profit organisation established to protect, represent and promote the combined interests of its regional airline members and regional aviation throughout Australia. Australian Aviation is proud to again be a Silver sponsor of the 2014 RAAA Convention.
