Airbus A350 completes extreme weather testing

An Airbus A350 test aircraft has completed a series of cold weather testing at the USAF’s McKinley Climatic Laboratory in Florida.

Aircraft MSN002 and its systems were subjected to temperatures between +45 degrees and -40 degrees Celsius during the tests which are designed to prove the aircraft’s ability to withstand a prolonged hot or cold soak and then have all systems function normally afterwards.
