An Airbus A350 test aircraft has completed a series of cold weather testing at the USAF’s McKinley Climatic Laboratory in Florida.
Aircraft MSN002 and its systems were subjected to temperatures between +45 degrees and -40 degrees Celsius during the tests which are designed to prove the aircraft’s ability to withstand a prolonged hot or cold soak and then have all systems function normally afterwards.

says:Airbus needs to send their aircraft to the US for this? Isn’t that a bit humiliating?

says:@Raymond
Just like Boeing sending a 787-9 to Alice Springs?
Raymond
says:I was thinking more that Airbus cannot seem to do its cold weather testing somewhere in Europe, but instead has to send their aircraft to the country of their major competitor.
