Virgin Australia has announced it will significantly upgrade its Brisbane lounge.

The upgrade will comprise a doubling in size of the Lounge space and the addition of a kerbside ‘Premium Entry’ access.

“Over the last three years we have completely transformed the Virgin Australia domestic lounge experience, setting a new standard with bold, architectural designs, all-day dining, complemented by the very best service,” Virgin Australia chief customer officer Mark Hassell said. “Since then, we have doubled the size of both the Melbourne and Sydney lounge and we are now doubling the size of Brisbane, further demonstrating that our strategy to attract business and corporate travellers is working.”

Work on the new Lounge is expected to be completed in mid-2015.
