The popular quarterly periodical Aero Australia magazine has been bought from nextmedia by Wilson Media.

Owned by magazine Editor Stewart Wilson and wife Wendy Wilson, Aero is a quarterly aviation magazine produced at Bungendore near Canberra. It was launched in 2003 with Stewart Wilson at the helm, and covers all genres of aviation.

“Wendy and I are delighted to be taking over the magazine we established more than a decade ago and have nurtured its development since then,” Stewart Wilson said in a statement. “There is a real sense of ‘family’ with our readers, contributors and advertisers and we look forward to taking the magazine through its second decade.”

The takeover will commence from Aero’s next October-December 2014 issue (No 44).

I’ve always found this magazine a good read with a good mix of subjects. Nice to see it will go on, and look forward to next issue.
