If you are under 35 and fancy yourself as the next Alan Joyce, John Borghetti or Lim Kim Hai, then Aviation/Aerospace Australia (A/AA) wants to hear from you.
Applications are open for A/AA’s inaugural Altitude event in Melbourne on November 19, with the seven winners to make a six-minute presentation around the theme “Making Australia an aviation and aerospace powerhouse”.
“Expect to engage with a high-level audience of leaders, policy-makers, and the broader aviation/aerospace community in a forum that is focused on the future, by future leaders,” A/AA said on Monday.
“We’re looking for talks that are future-focused, big-picture orientated, convey a sense of leadership and pro-activeness, and inspire action.
“Data dumps, hand-waving, and slide-reading-style presentations will experience a rejected takeoff in the selection process.”
Applications can be made on the A/AA website and close on October 10.
