Aviation Australia graduate Rachel Dudok has been shortlisted as a finalist for this year’s Australian Training Awards’ Vocational Student of the Year.

A former Australian Air Force Cadet, Dudok was awarded this year’s Queensland Vocational Student of the Year in September.

Dudok has completed both a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) and, while apprenticed to Qantas Engineering, a Diploma of Aeroskills (Avionics) through Aviation Australia, and is now a CASA-qualified Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer holding an avionics B2 licence.

“At Aviation Australia we’re very proud of Rachel’s professional achievements and honoured to be a part of her journey into avionics,” Aviation Australia CEO Bill Horrocks said in a statement.

“We continue to offer state-of-the-art world-class training to all of our students to launch them into exceptional careers in aviation just as Rachel has.”

The Australian Training Awards will take place in Adelaide on November 21.
