The biennial Safeskies conference has chosen “training for change” as the theme for the 2015 event.

The aviation safety conference will be held in Canberra on September 23-24 and feature Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Warren Truss, Civil Aviation Safety Authority director of aviation safety Mark Skidmore and Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Geoff Brown, among others, as speakers.

And Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston will give the Sir Reginald Ansett memorial lecture at Parliament House on September 22.

Safeskies executive director Doug Nancarrow said the theme “training for change” was chosen to reflect the increasingly rapid and dynamic change that is currently occurring in both civil and military aviation.

More details on the conference is available on the Safeskies conference website www.safeskiesconference.com.au.
