Long-time Sydney Airport director Trevor Gerber has been named as the company’s next chairman.

Gerber, who has been on the board since 2002, will formally take his seat as chairman following Sydney Airport’s annual general meeting on May 14 2015, subject to his re-election as a director.

He replaces Max Moore-Wilton, who is stepping down as both chairman and a director of Sydney Airport.

In addition to being on the board of Sydney Airport, Gerber is also currently an independent non-executive director of the Tassal Group, Novion Property Group, Leighton Holdings and Regis Healthcare.
