Improved flying conditions have allowed Virgin Australia and Jetstar to resume operations into and out of Bali on Thursday.
Virgin said it would operate 14 flights between Australia and Bali on Thursday, which included two additional services to help those stranded as a result of the Mount Raung ash cloud.
Meanwhile, Jetstar said it would operate all scheduled services into and out of Bali on Thursday and has lined up additional flights for Friday.
Jetstar cancelled 10 flights on Wednesday after deeming conditions unsuitable for flying. Virgin also cancelled its full schedule on Wednesday after the airport was closed due to the ash cloud.
