PM takes a C-17 to visit Australian troops in Afghanistan

Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP and official party disembark a Royal Australian Air Force C-17 Globemaster aircraft at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan.Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has taken a RAAF C-17 to visit Australian Defence Force and civilian personnel working in Iraq and Afghanistan. Turnbull visited Iraq on January 16, and Afghanistan on the following day. Australia is increasing its military commitment to the NATO-led mission Resolute Support by about 20 personnel, bringing the total commitment to approximately 270.
