Hawker Pacific has created the new role of general manager helicopter sales and support. The new position will be filled by the company’s current rotary sales manager, Matthew Hardy.

The company says Hardy will be “responsible for overseeing and developing Hawker Pacific’s integrated helicopter sales and product support services across the Asia Pacific region,” and that creating the new role is in “response to increased customer demand throughout the region”.

Hawker Pacific represents Bell Helicopter in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Middle East.

Hardy’s new role follows on from Hawker Pacific’s appointment of Chris Barry to lead the company’s aircraft sales activities throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific, based at Auckland’s Ardmore Airport.
