AviaAM Leasing says it has sold an Airbus A321 narrowbody to Aergo Capital with a lease attached to SmartLynx Airlines.

The Lithuania-based leasing company said the aircraft was acquired earlier in 2019 and underwent a comprehensive technical preparation, refurbishment and repainting before it was leased out to a Latvian aircraft, complete crew, maintenance, and insurance (ACMI) operator.

The A321 is currently being flown by Germany-based Condor under an ACMI contract.

AviaAM Leasing chairman and chief executive Tadas Goberis said the company was delighted with the accomplishment of the challenging project.

“Our team, together with sister company FL Technics, has once again demonstrated effectiveness and flexibility in responding to clients’ needs,” Goberis said in a statement on May 28.

“Cooperation with SmartLynx gains even more acceleration, thus we are looking for bright and constantly developing business future.
